Pulse Pro Hub: Ethernet Setup [iPhone and Android]

 The Automate Pulse Pro Hub allow for easy and seamless control of your motorized shades within the Automate app. This means you can control your individual shades, activate scenes, and set schedules all from the comfort of your phone. Follow the below instructions for pairing the Pulse Pro Hub via Ethernet on an iPhone or Android device.

Wi-Fi can also be setup as a backup connection during Ethernet setup.

How do I set up a Pulse Pro Hub using Ethernet?

1. Connect the Automate Pulse Pro Hub to your router using the provided Ethernet cable.

2. Plug in the power and ensure the Hub is blinking blue.

Hold the P button until the Hub's light turns solid green, then let go. After a moment the Hub should begin blinking blue.

3. Open the Automate app and select Connect from the Pro Hub Detected pop-up.

Ensure that all app permissions are enabled under the app settings. Then close and re-open the app. 

iOS and iPhone Settings

1. Open the Settings app.


2. Scroll down and select the Apps section.


3. Search for and select the AUTOMATE app.


4. Ensure that all settings are turned on.
(Location, Bluetooth, Local Network, Home Data, and Cellular Data if available)

Android Settings

1. Open the Settings app.

2. Scroll down and select the Apps section.


3. Search for and select the AUTOMATE app. 


4. Select Permissions.


5. Ensure that all permissions are allowed. (Location and Bluetooth)

4. Select Next to setup Wi-Fi as a back up connection.
InfoIf a Wi-Fi connection is not needed, then toggle Enable Wi-Fi off and skip to step #6.
 


5. Type in your Wi-Fi password and then select Next.

Ensure that you are connected to a 2.4 GHz  compatible Wi-Fi network.


6. Wait while your Automate Hub Pro connects to your network.


7. The Pulse Pro Hub is now online and ready to be paired with your shades.
