How Come My Shade Is Not Responding Immediately?
Please verify that your antenna cable is extended out as well as check if your remote battery needs to be changed.
What Are the Two Cables at the End of My Motor?
The 12V charging motors have a charge port approximate 6” long with a plug on the end. The other wire is an antenna and should be extended for optimal signal capture. The cables must be routed so that they cannot get caught up.
What Battery Goes Into My Remote?
The 1-channel and 15-channel handheld remotes take a CR2450 coin cell battery. Push 5 remote takes a CR2430 coin cell battery. Other remotes and switches take different batteries as is appropriate.
How Do I Know When My Motor Needs to Be Charged?
When operating the motor and it beeps 10 times, that is a signal that the motor needs to be charged.
How Do I Control All My Shades At Once?
An example video of how to use channel 0 can be found here. From a 15 channel remote, choose channel 0 (Zero) and all shades on that remote will operate.
How Long Does It Take My Shades to Charge?
Original 12v charging takes a minimum of 6 hours, regardless of the color of the light on the charger. The new 5V charging motors require approximately 8 – 10 hours and the charge condition is shown by the light in the motor.
Can I Overcharge My Shades?
The battery can never be overcharged, as it has an overcharge protection circuit built in. The motor can be recharged approx. 500 times.
