Pulse PRO: Wi-Fi Setup [iPhone and Android]

 The Automate Pulse PRO allows for easy and seamless control of your motorized shades within the Automate Shades app. This means you can control your individual shades, activate scenes, and set schedules all from the comfort of your phone. Follow the below instructions for pairing the Pulse PRO via Wi-Fi on an iPhone or an Android device. 
AlertPlease ensure you're using a compatible 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.

How do I set up a Pulse PRO using Wi-Fi?

1. Connect the Automate Pulse PRO to power and ensure it is blinking blue.

Hold the P button until the Hub's light turns solid green, then let go. After a moment the Hub should begin blinking blue.

2. Open the Automate app and select Connect from the Pulse PRO Detected pop-up.

Ensure that all app permissions are enabled under the app settings. Then close and re-open the app. 

iOS and iPhone Settings

1. Open the Settings app.


2. Scroll down and select the Apps section.


3. Search for and select the AUTOMATE app.


4. Ensure that all settings are turned on.
(Location, Bluetooth, Local Network, Home Data, and Cellular Data if available)


Android Settings

1. Open the Settings app.

2. Scroll down and select the Apps section.


3. Search for and select the AUTOMATE app. 


4. Select Permissions.


5. Ensure that all permissions are allowed. (Location and Bluetooth)


3. Type in your Wi-Fi password and then select Next.
Ensure that you are connected to a 2.4 GHz  compatible Wi-Fi network.


4. Wait while your Pulse PRO connects to your network.


5. The Pulse PRO is now online and ready to be paired with your shades.
