How to check if Motor is ARC or Non-ARC

In this article you will find the way on how to check if you are not sure if you have got ARC or NON-ARC motor and also you will get to know on the programming of these motors.
ARC being our new range and NON-ARC are our old obsoleted motors.
First check if the P1 button on the motor head is of Red color, if it is then that's NON-ARC motor which is also called a legacy motor. If button is not red, then check the followings:

If motor is already paired with remote

Then the easiest way is by pressing p2 button on the remote:

Info
To confirm, press p2 button on the backside of the remote and let it go (do not press and hold), if motor gives 1 jog and 1 beep then it is an ARC motor.
Info
If you press the P2 button on the backside of the remote and motor only gives a beep, then most probably it is a Non-ARC motor

If motor is not Paired with remote:

Take the help of P1 button on the motor head. To find P1 button location see below link:

Info
You have to press the P1 button and release it ( do not hold p1 button),  if motor gives one Jog only then it is the Non-ARC motor
Info
If you press the P1 button (do not hold p1 button) and motor either do not do anything or it starts moving to it's one of the limit (top or bottom), then it is ARC Motor. Just to double confirm this time press and hold P1 button for 2 seconds and let it go if motor gives one jog and a long beep then its confirmed that you are looking at ARC motor.
